Bhatt said my career will be over if I play Dawood’s role: Emraan

Emraan Hashmi, who played Dawood Ibrahim-inspired role of Shoaib Khan in 2010 film 'Once Upon a Time in Mumbaai', said Mahesh Bhatt had warned him against playing the role. "Bhatt said 'If you play this character, your career will be over'," Emraan said. He added Bhatt apologised to director Milan Luthria after film's release, calling it "entertaining" rather than "dark".
