BHEL received work orders worth ₹7000 crore from Adani Power

Shares of Bharat Heavy Electricals Ltd (BHEL), power equipment manufacturers, surged up to 14% after securing two work orders worth ₹7000 crore for 2x800 MW thermal power projects in Raipur and Mirzapur. The contracts, valued at ₹3,500 crore each, are from Adani Power Ltd and its subsidiary, with completion timelines of 35 and 41 months.
