BHEL shares drop 4% after debuting on Nifty Next 50 index

Shares of Bharat Heavy Electricals (BHEL) dropped around 4% on Monday to hit an intraday low of ₹274.65 on NSE. This comes after BHEL became one of the seven stocks to be included in the Nifty Next 50 index. BHEL shares have so far fallen over 18% from its 52-week high of ₹335.35 which it hit on July 9, 2024.
