BHIM App allows UPI payment of up to ₹5000 using fingerprint or facial recognition

NPCI’s BHIM Payments App has announced a new feature which will allow users to approve UPI transactions upto ₹5,000 using their smartphone’s fingerprint or facial recognition. To activate this feature, users can open BHIM App, go to profile, select their bank account and then click on activate biometric transactions. This feature is available for iOS and Android devices.
