Bhojpuri singer Pawan expelled from BJP for fighting polls against NDA

BJP expelled Pawan Singh from the party on Wednesday. This comes after the Bhojpuri singer filed his nomination as an Independent candidate to contest Lok Sabha elections from Bihar's Karakat against the nominee of BJP-led NDA. Calling this an "anti-party act", BJP said Pawan has tarnished the party's image. The 'Lollypop Lagelu' singer earlier denied BJP's ticket from West Bengal.
