Bhutan’s King Jigme Khesar Namgyel Wangchuck has dedicated one of the 108 stupas built at Gelephu Mindfulness City to PM Narendra Modi for his “outstanding commitment” to India-Bhutan friendship. Union Minister Kiren Rijiju attended the ceremony. He added that stupas represent Buddha’s enlightened mind, and dedicating one to an individual is considered highly meritorious and auspicious.
