Kannadigas form majority of airport workforce: BIAL

Bangalore International Airport Ltd (BIAL) responded to concerns over local hiring at Kempegowda International Airport, stating Kannadigas form the majority of its workforce. BIAL noted the Karnataka government is a key stakeholder and said it is engaging with authorities to address employment concerns. The airport has contributed to state economic growth since operations began in 2008.
