Bidadi Padayatra stopped, Nikhil announces Aug 18 protest

The Bidadi Township Padayatra led by JDS youth wing state president Nikhil Kumaraswamy was stopped by police on its second day while heading towards Bengaluru. Nikhil later called off the march peacefully and announced another protest at Freedom Park on August 18. He said the agitation against the Bidadi Township project would continue.
