Biden lauds 'heroes' of Jan 6 US Capitol attack who 'didn't flinch'

US President Joe Biden on Friday awarded the Presidential Citizens Medal to "heroes" who "did not flinch" when the US Capitol came under attack by ex-President Donald Trump's supporters on January 6, 2021. Biden awarded the country's second highest civilian honour to 14 people, some posthumously, at a White House ceremony to mark the two-year anniversary of the attack.
