Biden orders US military to shoot down Iranian missiles targeting Israel

US President Joe Biden has directed the US military to aid Israel's defence against Iran's attack and shoot down missiles that are targeting Israel, the White House said. The US had earlier said, "We are actively supporting defensive preparations to defend Israel...A direct military attack from Iran against Israel will carry severe consequences for Iran."
