The Joe Biden administration has announced the creation of Disinformation Governance Board. The US President's critics compared it to 'Ministry of Truth' in George Orwell's novel Nineteen Eighty-Four. "The spread of disinformation can affect border security, Americans' safety during disasters, and public trust in our democratic institutions," the Department of Homeland Security said.
