Big B nearly died due to Myasthenia gravis after 'Coolie': Tinnu

Actor-director Tinnu Anand said he signed Amitabh Bachchan for 'Shahenshah' after he got injured during 'Coolie' in 1982. Tinnu revealed 'Shahenshah' was dropped after Bachchan was diagnosed with Myasthenia gravis, a chronic autoimmune disease. He recalled Bachchan telling him he "nearly died" while drinking water because the message didn't go to his brain that he had to swallow it.
