Big tech firms add 13,600 employees in India this year: Report

Meta, Amazon, Apple, Microsoft, Netflix, Google and their affiliated entities added around 13,600 employees in India so far in 2026, according to data from Xpheno. The figure is 6% higher than the roughly 12,800 professionals these companies hired during the same period last year. According to TeamLease data, roles in AI, cloud and cybersecurity are among the most in demand.
