Bigger part of Google CEO Pichai's salary now linked to his performance

A new equity award that ties a bigger chunk of Google CEO Sundar Pichai's salary to his performance, has been approved by Alphabet, the firm said. This came as the board recognised Pichai's "strong performance" as CEO. His Performance Stock Units (PSUs) have been raised from 43% in 2019 to 60%, with an increase in performance requirement for the payout.
