Bihar father-son duo spends ₹25,000 a month to feed, hydrate birds

Shoaib Khan and his son Faiyaz Khan, residents of Khandel village in Gaya district of Bihar, spend ₹25,000 a month in summers to feed and hydrate birds. They install water containers at multiple locations, dig pits in dry riverbeds within forested areas to retain water for wildlife and arrange fodder for animals. The duo started the initiative four years ago.
