Bihar offers 40 acres govt land for ₹1 to boost sugar industry

The Bihar government has offered 40 acres government land to investors for 30 years at a token lease amount of ₹1 to boost sugar industry. The investors setting up sugar mills will get the benefit under Sugarcane Industries Investment Incentive Policy 2026. The policy provides 100% reimbursement of registration and stamp duty charges for land purchased by investors.
