Bihar surpasses India's GDP growth in 2024-25, ranks last in per-capita GSDP

Bihar surpassed India's GDP growth in the 2024-25 financial year, as its GSDP (Gross State Domestic Product) grew at 8.6% at constant prices in comparison with India’s GDP growth of 6.5% during the same period. Despite that, Bihar ranked last among all states in terms of per capita GSDP with just ₹40,973 at constant prices in FY 2024-25.
