Bihar teacher aspirants begin hunger strike over delay in recruitment notification

The teacher recruitment aspirants in Bihar's Patna began an indefinite hunger strike over the delayed TRE-4 advertisement. The protesters are seeking the timely conduct of the fourth phase of the Teachers Recruitment Exam (TRE-4) and are demanding that the notification for the test be announced within 24 hours, else they "may gherao the state education minister's residence for his resignation".
