Bill Cosby found liable in 1972 rape case, to pay $60 million to survivor

Comedian-actor Bill Cosby has been ordered to pay $59.25 million to his accuser in a 1972 rape case. The accuser will receive $40 million in punitive damages, $17.5 million in past damages, $1.75 million for future damages, including "mental suffering, loss of enjoyment of life, grief, humiliation, and emotional distress." She said, "I hope this gives strength to other survivors."
