Bill Gates becomes the biggest owner of farmland in US

The world's fourth-richest person, Bill Gates, has become the largest owner of farmland in the US. He owns 2,42,000 acres of farmland and nearly 27,000 acres of other land, according to an analysis by The Land Report, which tracks the country's biggest landowners. The title for largest landholdings overall goes to Liberty Media Chairman John Malone, who owns 22,00,000 acres.
