Bill introduced in US Senate to restrict birthright citizenship

A group of Republican Senators introduced a bill in US Senate to restrict birthright citizenship to the children of illegal immigrants and non-immigrants on temporary visas. The 'Birthright Citizenship Act of 2025' was tabled after President Donald Trump signed an executive order, set to take effect on February 20. This bill only applies to children born after date of enactment.
