Bill introduced in US Senate to support Tibetan cause beyond Dalai Lama's lifetime
A bipartisan group of US Senators has introduced a bill to ensure continued US support for Tibet beyond the lifetime of the 14th Dalai Lama. It recognises the Central Tibetan Administration (CTA) as the legitimate representative of the Tibetan people and seeks to preserve the governance established by Dalai Lama. The bill also sought CTA observer status at UN.
