Bill to protect H-1B spouse work permits introduced in US Congress

Two lawmakers have introduced a bill in the US Congress seeking to prohibit the Trump administration from revoking the work authorisation of H-1B visa holders' spouses. H-4 visas are issued to spouses of H-1B holders, a large number of whom are high-skilled professionals from India. They obtained work permits under an order issued by the previous Obama administration in 2015.
