Billionaire advises Google CEO Sundar Pichai to fire more staff; letter goes viral

British billionaire hedge fund manager Christopher Hohn has written a letter to Google and Alphabet's CEO Sundar Pichai, advising him to further reduce the company's headcount. "The decision to cut 12,000 jobs is a step in the right direction," Hohn wrote. "Management should aim to reduce headcount to around 1,50,000...This would require a total headcount reduction...of 20%," he added.
