Billionaire BJP candidate Naveen Jindal wins from Kurukshetra seat

Billionaire industrialist and BJP candidate Naveen Jindal has won Haryana's Kurukshetra Lok Sabha seat with 5.42 lakh votes. He defeated state AAP chief Sushil Gupta by a margin of 29,021 votes. Jindal, who quit Congress and joined BJP in March, had represented the constituency for two terms from 2004-2014. Meanwhile, INLD candidate Abhay Chautala received 78,708 votes.
