Billionaire Foxconn chief steps down to run for Taiwan president
Taiwan's richest person and the world's largest electronics contract manufacturer Foxconn's founder Terry Gou has stepped down from the role of Chairman to contest Taiwan's 2020 presidential election. The 69-year-old, with a net worth of $6.6 billion as per Forbes, had founded Foxconn 45 years ago. "I will never come back," added Gou, who will remain on the company's board.
