Billionaire Kamath calls to convert water into a tradable asset, explains how it can be priced
Billionaire Nikhil Kamath called for India to treat water as a tradable asset, like crude oil and carbon, to ensure it's priced correctly. Highlighting case studies from around the world, Kamath said, "Get it wrong, and it becomes exploitative." To get this going, water's footprint must be measured, it must have location-specific pricing and a credit buying system, he added.
