Billionaire Thiel's firm invests $200 mn in Bitcoin, Ether: Report

PayPal's billionaire Co-founder Peter Thiel's venture capital firm invested $200 million in cryptocurrencies last year, Reuters reported. Thiel's Founders Fund invested $100 million in Bitcoin and the rest in Ether, as per the report. The firm reportedly started buying Bitcoin when it was below $30,000. Bitcoin on Monday hit the $50,000 level for the first time in over two years.
