Biocon recalls 3,665 drug bottles in US for failed specifications
Biotechnology firm Biocon is recalling 3,665 bottles of Posaconazole delayed-release tablets in the US for "failed degradation specifications", USFDA said. The firm initiated the Class ll nationwide recall in January. The drug is used to treat fungal infections like invasive aspergillosis. The lot affected by the recall was distributed in the US by Iselin-based Biocon Pharma.
