Birla Group to set up India’s first copper foil factory for EVs

Aditya Birla Group is setting up first copper foil factory for EVs in India, Chairperson Kumar Mangalam Birla announced on Thursday. We are enabling lighter, fuel efficient and EV-ready vehicles. In battery materials we pioneer metals that will drive EV revolution. We provide high performance sustainable alternatives to traditional automotive components especially made for EV industry, he said.
