Bitcoin briefly drops below $30,000 for first time since July 2021

Bitcoin, in the early hours of Tuesday, fell below $30,000 for the first time since July 2021. Its value fell as low as $29,764 on Tuesday before recovering above $30,000. Bitcoin's value has more than halved from its all-time high which was close to $69,000 in November. The fall in cryptocurrencies followed a drop in US equities and other markets.
