Bitcoin may be Chinese financial weapon against US: Peter Thiel

Billionaire venture capitalist and PayPal Co-founder Peter Thiel said he is "pro-crypto" and "pro-Bitcoin maximalist" but he also thinks the cryptocurrency undermines the US dollar. "I do wonder whether at this point Bitcoin should also be thought of in part as a Chinese financial weapon against the US," he added. Thiel asked the US government to consider tighter cryptocurrency regulations.
