Bitcoin rises above $50,000, up 81% from January's low of $27,734

The price of Bitcoin on Sunday rose back above the $50,000 level to trade at $50,188. The world's biggest cryptocurrency, in terms of market capitalisation, is up 81% from this year's low of $27,734 on January 4. Cryptocurrency research firm Chainalysis' CEO Michael Gronager recently told Bloomberg the price of Bitcoin could rise above $100,000 by the end of 2021.
