Bitcoin's market value crosses that of Goldman Sachs, Nike

The value of cryptocurrency Bitcoin hit a record high of over $5,800 on Friday pushing its market capitalisation beyond that of companies like Goldman Sachs and Nike. Bitcoin's market capitalisation, which is the total value of all the Bitcoins in circulation, reached $96.7 billion. Goldman Sachs has a market value of $93 billion while Nike is worth $83 billion.
