BJP accuses Jan Suraaj of fake voting in Bankipur bypoll

BJP on Thursday accused Jan Suraaj workers of trying to cast fraudulent votes in Bihar's Bankipur bypoll. In letter to EC, BJP urged "strict voter ID checks" for fair polling. Jan Suraaj founder Prashant Kishor welcomed scrutiny of EPIC cards. Bankipur recorded 34% voter turnout, whereas bypolls in Gujarat's Manjalpur and MP's Datia recorded 37% and 71% voter turnout respectively.
