BJP appoints new state in-charges for Uttar Pradesh, Punjab before Assembly polls

The BJP has appointed new state in-charges for Uttar Pradesh and Punjab months before the state Assembly elections. Vinod Tawde has been appointed in-charge of Uttar Pradesh, while Ishwarbhai Patel has been appointed as co-in-charge. Satish Poonia is the new in-charge of Punjab, and Tarun Chugh is the new in-charge of Gujarat. Elections may take place this year.
