BJP calls for protest over stone-pelting at Mysuru police station

Days after mob hurled stones and vandalised vehicles in Udayagiri police station over alleged provocative speech by cleric Mufti Mustak Makbuli, the BJP has announced for a protest against the incident. Following this, the police increased security in Mysuru and also issued prohibitory orders. BJP has approached the court after being denied permission to hold the protest.
