BJP calls Jharkhand bandh on Aug 11 over police lathicharge on students

BJP has called for a Jharkhand bandh on August 11 to protest against police lathicharge on students protesting over alleged irregularities in recruitment examinations in state. "It will be a state-wide bandh...All essential services, however, are excluded from the purview of shutdown," BJP state president Aditya Sahu said. The bandh will be effective from 8 am till midnight on Tuesday.
