BJP-Congress workers clash outside polling station in Puducherry

A clash broke out between BJP and Congress workers near Government High School polling station at Thirukkanur in Mannadipet Assembly constituency on Thursday. The police resorted to lathi-charge outside the polling station in Thirukkanur to disperse Congress and BJP cadres following a clash between them. A total of 294 candidates are contesting in the election.
