BJP councillor allegedly assaulted by contractor in Badlapur

A heated argument reportedly broke out between BJP councillor Sambhaji Shinde and contractor Bharat Navgire at the Kulgaon-Badlapur Municipal Council, reportedly over pending bills. CCTV footage allegedly showed Navgire grabbing Shinde and pushing him down the staircase, causing him to hit a parked car. Bystanders intervened, while Shinde was taken to hospital with head, neck, and back injuries.
