BJP crosses majority mark in Lok Sabha polls for 2nd straight time

The BJP has crossed the majority mark on its own in Lok Sabha elections for the second straight time. BJP, which won 282 seats on its own in 2014 general elections, has won 274 seats so far and is heading towards the 300-seat mark, as per the latest data by Election Commission. Congress has won 47 seats so far.
