BJP demands CBI probe into irregularities in Gruha Lakshmi Scheme

BJP leader and Leader of Opposition in the Karnataka Assembly, R Ashoka, demanded a CBI probe into irregularities in the Gruha Lakshmi scheme. The BJP said that the government had not taken any action despite an audit report flagging irregularities worth ₹225 crore. The audit reportedly identified suspected irregularities, including payments to deceased beneficiaries and duplicate bank accounts.
