BJP expels social-media co-convenor for uploading a controversial AI video on Assam BJP handle

Assam BJP has removed a co-convener of its social media department after a controversial video on the party's official X handle sparked widespread backlash. The now-deleted video showed an avatar resembling Assam CM Himanta Biswa Sarma aiming at a framed photo of two Muslim men, with the caption "Point blank shot". Sarma later said he had not seen the video.
