BJP govt giving free rein to criminals: Rahul on 72-yr-old beaten for 'carrying beef'

Congress leader Rahul Gandhi has reacted to two separate incidents of a migrant being killed for allegedly eating beef and a 72-year-old man named Haji Ashraf being beaten in a train for apparently carrying beef. Claiming that BJP government is giving "free rein" to criminals, he said, "Attacks on minorities, especially Muslims, are continuing and...government machinery is...a mute spectator."
