BJP K'taka manifesto promises ₹5,000-cr fund of funds for startups

BJP, in its manifesto for Karnataka elections, has promised a ₹5,000-crore fund of funds to invest in startups in 'sunrise sectors', which include green energy, healthtech, deeptech and EVs, among others. The party has also promised to develop an EV city on the outskirts of Bengaluru and plans to exempt registration fee and road tax for EV purchases.
