Harassment in line of duty: IAS officers on BJP leader's 'Pak' remark on K'taka officer

Karnataka IAS Officers' Association condemned BJP MLC N Ravikumar's remark claiming IAS officer Fouzia Taranum "might've come from Pakistan". It said Taranum, posted as Kalaburagi DC and DM, has "impeccable integrity" and "an exemplary track record", adding that such "baseless, unjustified" remarks "amount to harassment in the line of duty". A case was filed against Ravikumar for the remarks.
