BJP leader Kummanam Rajasekharan appointed Mizoram Governor

BJP Kerala unit President Kummanam Rajasekharan was appointed as the Governor of Mizoram on Friday. The 65-year-old leader, who has held key positions in several Hindu outfits, started working with the RSS in 1987. He is known for launching agitations against caste hierarchy and leading the 1983 Nilakkal Movement, which was aimed at protecting temple lands from encroachment.
