BJP leader shot at in encounter in UP, MLC says 'Such incidents under own govt serious'

A BJP Booth President, Dharmendra, was allegedly shot at in a police encounter in UP's Azamgarh. Seeking action against the police personnel, BJP MLC Devendra Singh alleged that Dharmendra was picked up in a fake case and shot in the leg after being blindfolded. "Nothing could be more serious than encounter of Booth President under their own government," Singh said.
