BJP leader, Vijay Pandit (37), was shot dead allegedly by four unidentified persons in Dadri (UP) area on Saturday night, when he was returning home from his brother's shop, police sources said. The villagers and BJP workers, on hearing about the incident, reached the site after which a mob set ablaze around 16 vehicles near a police station in protest.
