BJP leads on 6 seats, SP on 2 in Uttar Pradesh Assembly by-polls

Counting of votes for by-elections on nine assembly seats of Uttar Pradesh began at 8 am on Saturday. The BJP-led alliance is ahead with the lead on six seats- Kundarki, Ghaziabad, Khair, Katehari, Phulpur and Majhawan as per early trends available with the Election Commission. Samajwadi Party is leading on two seats- Sishamau, Karhal and RLD on one seat- Meerapur.
